Sometimes, I think that because of how seriously he takes the game of basketball, people forget how un-serious LeBron James can be off the court, including on Instagram where @kingjames has racked up 159 million followers. Sure, you could say that some of his funniest moments maybe weren't intentionally funny, but either way the star baller is lovable for reasons beyond his four championships (is it really only 4?!) and decades of dominance in the NBA. And perhaps the greatest gift that LeBron's occasional foolishness has given us is the amount of meme-able moments he's had. There are so many good LeBron memes, that today we are even going to break down the best LeBron James memes.
The NBA is full of players with other interests beyond basketball. In fact, we've even broken down the best dressed NBA players, NBA players who are also musicians, NBA player with side hustles, NBA player with signature shoes, and the list goes on. LeBron's talent off the court, however? Making all of us laugh. Well, that and his long list of philanthropic endeavors, including the LeBron James Family Foundation, which he's dedicated much of his time off the court to, among other projects. The point is, LeBron is a national treasure, and that's why we love to laugh with him, maybe sometimes at him, but above all enjoy these iconic LeBron James memes.

If you don't have this meme saved in an accessible place in your camera roll to use at the perfect moment, then we are not the same. While I'm usually using it ironically, I don't think LeBron was being ironic here as he's basking in the sun in his beautiful pool in his mansion backyard.
"I thought we were ahead..."
Perhaps you'll be as surprised as me to find out that J.R. Smith forgetting the score and running out the clock because he thought the Cavs were winning was almost six years ago. However, LeBron most likely did not forget. By the looks of this iconic Lebron meme moment, he likely wakes up with the cold sweats thinking about it most days.

Where were you when "The Decision" aired on ESPN in 2010? I'm pretty sure I hadn't actually watched a single NBA game back in 2010, yet clearly remember being glued to my screen waiting for him to answer the question...which was finally answered about an hour after the special started. LeBron is nothing if not a man with a flair for the drama.

To be clear the Autobiography of Macolm X is a phenomenal book. But is it the type of book we want to read while putting in work on the stationary bike? Not so sure. But is any book really the type of book we want to read while doing cardio? For LeBron this is just another day at the office.

Now that we got the disclaimer that LeBron does not condone smoking cigarettes out of the way, we can appreciate this LeBron meme for all its worth. And so can he apparently, since he got a good kick out of the edit. The best memes can be used in a million different situations, and this one certainly meets that criteria.
Is Anyone Else Scared?
I don't think LeBron blinks one time in this video --- a man on a mission. As for what that mission is, I'm not so sure. But just know, whatever it is...he is locked in.
The Chalk Throw
LeBron's chalk throw is one of the coldest things in sports, IMO. If you're going to use this meme, therefore, you better make sure it's the right moment.

Rommie Rome certainly had himself a night on Halloween back in 2016. LeBron was on a heater posting pictures of his cotsume that year, though this one is a personal favorite and is certainly saved in my camera roll for the right moments.

Okay, so this one is not technically a "LeBron James Meme" but in a way it sort of is. And to this day, its the first thing I think of every time I hear LeBron James' name, which I'm sure LeBron might not be happy to hear that his legendary career has been diminished to this kid's iconic Vine, but that's the internet for you!
